OneCore™ — Server, Storage & Virtualization Infrastructure for Philippine Business
Compute, storage and virtual machines on one platform — designed, supplied, installed and migrated by LMI, then supported by the same team. Grow a node at a time instead of replacing everything at the next refresh.
Stop buying compute twice
A traditional server-and-SAN setup is two systems on two refresh clocks. One ageing storage array, or a hypervisor licence renewal, can force a full re-platform years before it should. OneCore puts compute, storage and virtualization on one platform that grows with you.
One hyperconverged cluster
Compute, storage and virtual machines in every node, run from one console. Start at two nodes and grow to 32, with no separate storage array to refresh.
Sized from a site assessment
We review your servers, storage, network and recovery targets first, then size the cluster to what is actually there.
Supplied and installed by our crews
Hardware supplied, racked, cabled and powered by LMI field crews — the same team that does your structured cabling and site works.
Planned migration
Workloads move in planned waves, cut over around your operating hours. Existing VMware hosts can keep running while the move happens.
Support on hardware you own
Firmware updates, hardware repair and replacement, and a documented recovery drill — contracted after go-live and scoped to what your team keeps in-house.
Ready for AI, later
Rack space, power and switch ports planned so GPU nodes can join the running cluster when AI workloads arrive — without buying a second platform.
Built for multi-site and growing organizations
Typical scenarios by sector, not client references:
- Schools and universities with several campusesA small cluster per campus, all run from one console — one standard design, one patch cycle and a backup at every site.
- Manufacturers leaving VMwareA three-node cluster runs alongside the existing hosts while workloads move in waves; the ageing SAN is retired with no separate storage project.
- Companies with branch officesTwo-node clusters at the branches with VM backups copied to head office, so a branch outage becomes a restore, not a site visit.
- Organizations planning their first AI workloadRefresh now with GPU-ready space and power, and decide on AI hardware when the budget is approved.
Already delivered: a three-node hyperconverged cluster with firewalls and switching joining four university campuses — failover tested, 72-hour burn-in passed, accepted February 2026. Read the case study →
From assessment to operation
1 · Discovery
A written review of your current servers, storage, network, growth plans and recovery targets.
2 · Design
A cluster design sized to what discovery found, with the growth path made explicit.
3 · Deploy
Supply, rack, configure and migrate — cutover planned around your operating hours, not ours.
4 · Support
Firmware lifecycle, hardware repair and a tested recovery drill, on a schedule you can see.
Two platforms, one approach
MAIPU hyperconverged
For campuses, branches and mid-size estates from two nodes. Compute, storage and data-centre switching from one vendor, so a fault has one support path. Deployed by MAIPU-certified engineers.
Cisco converged
For larger estates where compute and storage grow at different rates: Cisco UCS compute and Nexus switching with enterprise flash storage, each layer scaling on its own.
OneCore FAQ
How is OneCore priced?
Per site, after a free site assessment. There is no published price list: node count, storage, switching and migration scope set the quote. You can buy the platform outright, or spread the cost on a lease-to-own term.
Do we own the hardware?
Yes. Bought outright, it is yours from day one. On lease-to-own, ownership transfers at the end of the term.
Is OneCore right for a single server?
Usually not. OneCore starts at two nodes. If one server runs one application, we will tell you so.
Can we keep VMware during the move?
Yes. Workloads move in planned waves while the existing hosts keep running, so there is no single big-bang cutover.
Who supports it after go-live?
LMI's Bacolod team: firmware updates, hardware repair and replacement, and a recovery drill on an agreed schedule. Support is contracted separately after go-live.
