On 13 March 2026, LMI Corporation formally turned over a turnkey IT modernization project to a state university in Negros Occidental at its main campus. Bacolod news outlet Digicast Negros covered the turnover.

What was delivered

  • A hyperconverged server cluster at the core of the university's systems
  • Firewalls and switches that centralize the network of four campuses
  • Knowledge-transfer sessions for the university's faculty and ICT staff

According to the report, the project is the university's first step in replacing outdated systems under its three-year Information System Strategic Plan, built on Cisco technologies.

How it was proven

Every campus passed its own acceptance test, and the cluster completed a 72-hour burn-in with no critical failures before handover. The full project story is in our case study, One network for four campuses.
